Pretty much useless. Middle button has 3 functions: on, off, brightness control. How can this be? Easy: Off state: press button: on. On state: press button: cycle through brightness settings. How do you turn it off? Hold button. Of course, the controller does not know your intention when you press it, so it immediately changes brightness, then after a second it turns off. Which means you can NOT even turn on and off the LED strip without changing the brightness setting. Demo button works, but who will use it, it is hard to tell. The light button has only one function: get out demo mode. Of course, product description does not say a word on this. So, overall: useless. If middle would control on/of, lower and upper would control the brightness setting accordingly that would be a great product.
