Avoid!! Does not use standard driver. Therefore windows/linux/mac doesn't recognise it. It comes with its own drivers. It is definitely a security hazard
Suddenly the device changed, it didn't show up as a cd-rom drive and the wifi adapter showed up under device manager and it now does work with the official mediatek drivers. Seems like the device switches the usb between a virtual cd-drive to the WiFi adapter. I still have some problems under Linux though.
