Поставил в ноутбук - полёт нормальный. Пришлось потанцевать с бубнов, чтобы ноут увидел hdd в приводе, но это не проблемы этого устройства. Не понял для чего нужен трёхпозиционный переключатель, попробовал его переключать, но не заметил никакой разницы. Спросил у продавца: This is a compatibility switch for different Brand/Model laptops to use optical bay caddy. The small switch can fix the shutdown or sleep model problems by changing the switch position from Left (default position) to Middle or Right side (for some laptop added the optical bay hard drive, it will cause this issue). If there is no problem after added the second drive, then please do not change the switch position in case the drive cannot be detected by OS
