Ten 8mm x 100mm rods ordered. Not one was 100mm. Length varied between 102 and 104 mm. A complete waste of my time. I suppose I should be happy that none were less than 100mm and I can pay to get them ground to length.

Nominal measurement of 1.89mm of the rods most measured over 1.90mm. my gears have a tolerance of between 1.85mm-1.92mm so these shafts should work well.
