Sadly even though the tape is marked as KAPTON tape - its certainly not Dupont spec. I was testing the tape at 200'c and the attached shows what happened - it did catch file, this was from a reflow gun not a naked flame. Genuine Kapton does not even flinch at this heat - I have not been able to test its electrical isolation properties. But then you get what you pay for. Just mentioning in case the sell is not aware. On the plus - Delivery was fast!.
