Not possible to go up to 1000x magnification. Have to use an external LED light source as the LED lights that came with the magnifier can’t lit my object bright enough for easy focusing. Picture shows a strand of white hair and the max it can magnify.
After using it on different occasions, found that the magnifier is quite powerful for children’s learning. The creatures that I took is just a few millimetres in size and it turned out quite clearly on my handphone with the magnifier.
