Size XL probably equates pretty closely to UK XL, so about 36/38" waist. I thought they would be smaller so ordered XL knowing that I normally take an L. Have now ordered another pair in size large. Boxers themselves appear well made. Nice light merino, comfortable and not itchy. Stitching appears to be good quality too. I'd prefer a wider waste band, but can't complain.
