Ordered 3. 2 were perfect. 1 of them was damaged and had a hole punctured through the black plastic housing. Still works Also the battery compartment is too tight, I had to use a pair of pliers to make more room for my Amazon Basics rechargeable batteries to fit in.
The movement is very smooth. Not as good as the Suzuki ordered, that Suzuki is like a Rolex, so smooth. The mechanism is very quiet. You won't hear it when hung up on the wall. You can only hear it if place your ears up to the gearbox. The Suzuki is silent even if you place your ears up to it. The battery compartment is tight and needs a plier to adjust it, the suzuki is spacious and can accept batteries immediately. However this mechanism is $1.27 CAD and the Suzuki one is $5 CAD. So take that price and performance into consideration.
