Very silent, much better than the common neodim-based holders! Adhesive may not hold (especially if 96% alcohol is banned in your country ☹), but shouldn't be a problem to screw it. When installing I'd advise to place the base first with receiver on it, then to glue receiver in place slightly pushing towards the door's rotation axis. This way you can achieve almost no skew when the holder does its job.
