The item is exactly as they advertise and I have no complaints. The string is elastic and strong which can be really comfortable to wear (shoes), kind of like those elastic no-shoelace shoes. I ended up not using the end part because it looked clunky and lame. I wasn't really looking for an easy replacement for tying my shoes but rather for a better looking option. You can see my attempts in the pictures that I added and the one that I ended up using. It's good for the price and I have no complaints.
