The magnet inside is attached with a rod and the retention of the bits is not reliable. The magnet must be glued and must have direct contact with the bits. There is no grease in the mechanism and if you do not want it to wear out quickly, you must carefully disassemble and lubricate it. The small size is a great convenience.
